Quantum theory is one of the biggest mysteries of universe which has evaded scientists since decades. Debated over decades, it is one of the understood topic of physics. It unifies gravitational physics with quantum mechanics. It is basically a term of the theory that attempts to unify gravity with the other fundamental forces of physics. If it exists it won’t be simple for sure. It won’t just combine the theories but will introduce a fundamental law of space and time. Einstein’s theory revolutionized gravity by showing that it isn’t a force but a curve in space and time, in contrast quantum theory of gravity, the space time will fluctuate wildly even in the absence of matter.

Quantum Theory of Gravity will play a major role in several aspects of black hole physics. It would provide a complete understanding of thermal radiation that black holes are expected to produce. It would also help us understand gravity in extreme conditions such as at the centre of a Black hole or during the origin of the universe. Not only this, it might also affect our understanding of how light travels. It might destroy the ability of light from distant sources to create interference patterns. It would help in proving the existence of gravitons, a hypothetical quantum particle of gravity. A Graviton is a massless elementary particle that mediates the force of gravity. Several astrophysical effects have suggested that they exist but they haven’t been observed. Studies predict that they might be seen in the future.

The major problem in experimentally testing the theory of quantum gravity is that energy levels required to observe the supposition are inapproachable in current laboratories experiments. but, the day its existence is proved it will revolutionize human knowledge.
