Our first ever magazine will be published in December 2021! It will be available in digital format only.

This magazine will also accept “guest entries” from the people! Submitted content will be considered for publishing in our magazine or on our website! Jokes/memes/quotes may also be selected for posting on our official Instagram page!

We will start accepting submissions in the next few days. Submissions will be selected in June.

What are we accepting?:

We are accepting the following type of entries:

(NOTE: Each of the following must be related to physics (any branch of physics), space exploration, or technology)

  • Articles
  • News articles (News should be from June)
  • Shorts (80-120 word articles)
  • Interesting facts (send no more than 3 facts for consideration)
  • Quotes (send no more than 3 quotes)
  • Jokes/memes (must be original) (send no more than 3 jokes/memes)
  • Something unique (At physeeks, we love new ideas and creativity. Therefore any new type of entry is allowed)

Certificates/benefits:

If your content is selected for publication in our magazine:

  • A “certificate of appreciation”
  • A discount on our magazine
  • Recognition- Your article/submission will be read/seen by hundreds of people from around the world. (Note: You can opt to reveal or not reveal your name/info in the publication.)

If your content is is selected for publication on our website/Instagram:

  • Recognition- Your article/submission will be read/seen by hundreds of people from around the world. (Note: You can opt to reveal or not reveal your name/info in the publication.)

General rules for submission:

  • Do not send us your submission in writing. You must type/create all your content on a computer.
  • Plagiarism is NOT allowed. The content may or may not be original but the writing MUST be original (except for quotes). A small amount of text (not more than a few lines) can be quoted, but they must be in double quotation marks Please use plagiarism software to check your article for plagiarism. If plagiarized articles are received, they will not be considered for publication. To avoid plagiarism, avoid copy-pasting text from the internet.
  • Citations/references are REQUIRED. If you do not cite your sources, the submission will not be considered for publication. Tip: please obtain your information from reliable sources on the internet. Content containing false information will not be selected for publishing)
  • You may send us images you want us to use with your submission. Source/credit is a must.

Rules for each type of entry:

Articles:

  • Articles Should be related to physics/space exploration/technology.
  • They can be on any branch/topic of physics- astronomy, quantum physics, string theory, particle physics, etc.
  • Articles should be 250-650 words long.

News articles

  • We will start accepting news articles from May 2021
  • News must not be from earlier than May
  • Articles Should be related to physics/space exploration/technology.
  • Must be between 300-500 words.

Shorts:

  • “Shorts” Articles Should be related to physics/space exploration/ technology.
  • Should be 80-120 words long

Interesting facts:

  • These cannot be longer than 30 words
  • Should be related to physics/space exploration/technology.

Quotes:

  • May be original. Must be scientifically/factually correct.
  • If not original, should be from a recognized individual involved in science/math/space exploration/technology.
  • Must not be a misquote (therefore, citation/source is a strict requirement)

Jokes/Memes:

  • Should be related to physics/space exploration/technology.
  • Must be original
  • Must not be offending
  • Must be funny (obviously)
